After School Soccer with Soccer-X
After School Soccer
Fun-Educational-Active
Starting in term 2, Soccer-X will be running an 8 week after school program at Ferncourt Public school every Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm beginning May 12th. The program is available to students from kindergarten to year 6. Children will be split into groups according to age. All sessions will be run by qualified coaches who hold blue cards. The sessions will be fully inclusive and fun based, catering to all abilities. Active kids vouchers accepted.

Art Discovery
Creative Club K-2
Thursdays 3:30pm to 4:30pm (1 hour)
Fun arts and crafts weekly projects with an engaging teacher. Simple projects exploring a variety of different art mediums including pastels, paints, clay, collage, 3D crafts and more. The emphasis is on creativity, fun and confidence building.
Art Discovery Class - years 2-6
Mondays or Fridays 3:30-5pm (1.5 hours)
Exploration of different artistic styles and mediums. New themes each term. Learn techniques using a variety of art mediums including pastels, paints, clay, 3D crafts, printing, drawing, collage and more. The emphasis is on creativity, fun and confidence building.

Ferncourt Strings Program
Ferncourt Strings program is a music program open to all students from Kindergarten to Year 6 run by the P&C.
Ferncourt has 2 ensembles and for those in the early stages or yet to learn their instrument, small group lessons.
Rehearsals
Emerging players - Wednesday - 8-8:40am
String ensemble - Wednesday - 8:40-9:20am
Violin small group lessons - Friday - 8:40-9:20am
Ensemble rehearsal fee $330 per student/year
Small group lessons fee $25/week paid by the term
